As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Electroland Ghana has made a generous donation of cash and electronic appliances to support the construction of the new Gbewaa Palace in Yendi, the official residence of the overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom.

The presentation, led by the company’s Head of Marketing, Adiza Ibrahim, took place as the palace project progresses toward completion. The donation included two air conditioners, flat-screen televisions, refrigerators, fans, an undisclosed cash amount, and other home and electronic appliances designed to support the comfort and functionality of the new royal residence.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Adiza Ibrahim emphasized the company’s dedication to national and community development, stating:
“This donation reflects Electroland Ghana’s commitment to contributing to the development of Dagbon and promoting Ghana’s rich cultural heritage through sustainable community partnerships.”

A representative of Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama II expressed gratitude for the support, describing the gesture as a true example of corporate citizenship that promotes unity, modernization, and social progress within Dagbon.

In a separate ceremony, the overlord of Dagbon honored Adiza Ibrahim with a citation, a sheep, guinea fowls, and tubers of yam in appreciation of her contribution to leadership and sustainable development efforts.

Once completed, the new Gbewaa Palace will feature modern residential and administrative facilities, serving as a symbol of progress and the central seat of authority for the Dagbon Kingdom.
